Job Description
Summary
- Development of AI functions and production tools that support art/scenario/level creation using generative AI (LLM, etc.) and procedural generation.
- Articulating the production intent (purpose, constraints, and evaluation criteria), designing templates/constraints, optimizing the UX of production tools, and improving the generation experience.
- Improved generation quality (completeness/consistency/reproducibility) and streamlined production pipeline (generation flow, review process, data management, regeneration/diff management, etc.)
- Evaluation design and continuous improvement from the perspectives of generation speed, cost, and quality (benchmarking, comparative evaluation, operational monitoring) Expansion development of our proprietary node-based editor (addition of features for production sites / UX improvement)
- Design and implementation of a pre-generation (batch generation) function for standardized scenarios (templating, structured output, generation flow with review assumptions)
- Design and implementation of a pre-generation (batch generation) function for puzzle levels (including evaluation design for constraint satisfaction, solvability/difficulty, etc.)
- Creation and optimization of a pre-trained database for game resources (schema design, tagging, deduplication, improvement of searchability/reusability)
- Experience as an engineer involved in game development, or practical experience as a Technical Artist with coding skills.
- Basic understanding of machine learning/natural language processing, or automated generation (procedural generation, search/optimization, etc.)
- Experience working with large-scale datasets/content databases (collection/processing/quality control/design of searchability and reusability, etc.)
- The process doesn't end with "inspection" of the product; quality can be improved through an iterative cycle of evaluation design review feedback improvement.
- The ability to move forward by aligning objectives, constraints, and evaluation criteria through exchanges of ideas with stakeholders (artists/designers/engineers).
- Experience in developing conversational AI/agents (ability to integrate them into the UI/workflow for production support)
- Experience in using and operating GPUs in cloud services (AWS, GCP, RunPod, Azure, etc.)
- Experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch
- Development and operation experience related to generative AI (images/text/structured data) (training/fine-tuning/inference optimization/evaluation, etc.)
- Experience in designing workflows/guardrails for implementation in production environments (templates, constraints, checks, reproducibility, difference management, etc.)
- Experience in developing extensions for node-based (graph/DSL, etc.) editors.
- Experience in automatic level generation, exploration/optimization, and evaluation (solvability, difficulty estimation, diversity, etc.)
- Experience in data modeling/database design (content database, tag design, indexing, deduplication, etc.)
- Interests spanning numerous areas related to game development (art/scenario/levels/operations/tools)
- The ability to honestly confront tasks and persistently cycle through hypothesis testing and improvement.
- Can be driven forward with a sense of urgency and awareness of deadlines.
- Possesses self-control and can take initiative while also involving those around them.
- Ability to quickly exchange opinions on issues and propose solutions.
- You can articulate the objectives, constraints, and evaluation criteria, and reach a consensus with stakeholders.
