Summary
Robinhoods in-house creative team is looking for a Senior Motion Graphic Designer to help define and elevate how motion brings our brand and product to life. From lightweight UI animations to launch campaigns and brand storytelling, youll shape motion at every layer of the customer experience.
Were looking for a motion designer who thrives in After Effects, understands how to build scalable animation systems, and has hands-on experience with Lottie (Bodymovin) workflows for product implementation.

What youll do- Design and animate high quality motion assets across product, marketing, social, and brand experiences
- Build pixel perfect UI animations using After Effects and export with Lottie for in-product use
- Create re-usable animation libraries and systems that scale across surfaces and teams
- Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, brand creatives, and researchers to ensure motion enhances both utility and delight
- Contribute to and help evolve Robinhoods motion principles and documentation
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, ideally with experience in fast paced product or brand teams
- Mastery of After Effects, including expressions, structure, and plugin based workflows
- Strong experience using Lottie/Bodymovin to export animations for implementation in web and mobile environments
- A deep understanding of animation principles, pacing, and how motion supports UX
- Familiarity with Figma design workflows and proper file conversion.
- Strong design eye/typography, composition, timing, and clarity all matter to you
- Clear communicator with the ability to advocate for motion in cross-functional settings
- Experience collaborating directly with engineers or working within a design system
- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Rive
- Experience with Cinema 4D or 3D pipelines (a plus, but not required)

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhoods equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
